The Eventides takes place in a large island, divided into seven well known regions.
Human Population?
Humans have long-since abandoned the island for unknown reasons. The only human presence nowadays is concentrated on families vacationing in the island, as well as hikers and nature activists. They seems to only show up on small visits, with the longest human presence lasting only a few months.
Large cities on various stages of decay are only found in The Lost City, but it isn't uncommon to find an abandoned building or two in other regions.
Magic?
The world of Eventides does not cater to magic.
While you're allowed to give your cats a variety of skills and abilities, much like those seen in the Warrior Cats' series, these will not give you an advantage over other members or NPCs. By all means, participating in group activities and events, cats will be treated as regular domestic cats.
Explicit use of magic (such as breathing fire, for example) isn't allowed.
Items
Giving your cats items and accessories is fine! Items should be kept reasonable: sure, a cat may find an old rusty dagger, but it likely wouldn't know how to effectively wield it in combat. A cat wouldn't make use of a burning cloth if there isn't a safe way to handle it, etc.
A lush, paradise-on-earth, located towards the center of the island. Most cats gather here to live in peace, but may often venture into meeting Grouped cats.
Breezy Burrows is home to large, open fields. While large mountains aren't common, you may find expansive forests and larger hills.
Dense, thick forests cover the entire region. You will find deep marshes, overgrown glades, and lush caves all over the region.
While at first glance it might not be much, Babbling Brooks is characterized by larger bodies of water. Lakes, streams and rivers are extremely common.
The harsh, rocky terrain makes for a difficult to navigate terrain. Most groups that have settled here have adapted to the unsteady ground.
A Large, desert region. Ruins and excavation sites lay hidden by an endless amount of sand.
This city used to be the center of the human population and, as such, all sorts of historic buildings can be found in the city.
