Environment Design - Level Design
After discovering that the previous statue is broken, the player is tasked with replacing it. Inspired by assemblage art form where a collection of found objects forms a larger piece. The player collects different items, each holding unique meanings within the nine-dimension framework presented by Impact Makers.
In this narrative driven game, such objects are found either through dialogue or scattered around the map. The more objects your statue holds, the more the town around you changes. The townsfolk become inspired by your work and begin restoring and improving the future of the town. Transforming it from a place plagued by pollution and pesticides to a natural haven for both people and nature, truly sculpting a better future.
During this project, I significantly developed my knowledge and understanding of the Unity particle system. I also created quick concept maps to communicate the necessary assets to the artists on the team. While the level design was relatively straightforward, it was still a fun challenge to design and later fine-tune the layout to allow the best game flow.

Sculpt the future has been made in collaboration with the university of Utrecht in a Sustainability focused Game jam that ran over the course of 8 weeks. The Game was also made for impact makers as a way to showcase their new Creative Impact toolkit.
(This project was made in 8 weeks for the hku and Impact makers and was later handed in to a game jame about sustainability)
