THe most managed river system in the world
The system of electrical power from the main stem drainage (1243 miles) of the Columbia river in the US starts at the Grand Coulee, WA storage dam early in the morning everyday. Once water is released from the dam it acts as a tsunami (The Bulge) running downriver to the other 10 mainstream run of the river dams supplying power throughout the day. This whole system is highly managed for efficiency of power output from this Tsunami of water.
