Would your community/group like to interact with John before, during, and/or after the trip?
John is available to give his 45 minute presentation to your group most anytime until the end of July 2020, during the trip August - October along the route, and then after.
He is available to talk to local news, blog and phone updates, and especially talk to youth about the adventure.

He will do his best to accommodate your requests. He is available before August 1st, 2020 for presentations. After, please realize that he will be out of communication a good portion of the time. You can also plan to meet him at the river for interviews and get together (food and treats always accepted).

John has paddled the Columbia twice before and in 2015 he came up with the idea to paddle the Columbia river, just portions of the river, not the whole 1250 miles of the river that today may be as pristine as when man first discovered it or as much as I could find. I pictured this as FUN and exciting as just a handful of people try this each year.
