ERI Adventure 2021 UPDATE

Columbia River Eri's Adventure 2. Hello I am leaving on a solo adventure down the Columbia River starting Saturday Aug 28th. This is similar to my 2018 Columbia Source to sea paddle. I will be starting at the Canada-Washington state border at Black Sand Beach near the town of NorthPort.

Due to COVID it is not possible to paddle my original route down the Kootenay and Columbia rivers and I have had to change plans at the last minute.

I will be providing daily updates with photos and videos on location, camping, things to do and see. If your interested in paddling the Columbia this will help in your planning and preparations. This paddle is part of Eri's Adventures, a program I created to teach youth the Art of Adventure in 2018. Our team of educators is there to help those that want to use the trip in their classrooms. This includes participation in the adventure through real time video conferencing with John on the trip as well as classroom materials and more.

Please be aware that we are updating the site as it currently is showing the Kootenay - Columbia trip and will be changed shortly.

The mapping link below is in test mode and the real mapping will begin on Saturday August 28th. Starting the 28th you will get real time mapping of the paddle in 10 minute increments so followers in the classroom can always find my current location.
