Mathieu Casado has been hired on the ERC Starting Grant project of Dr. Amaelle Landais (LSCE, Paris) COMBINISO (Quantitative picture of interactions between climate, hydrological cycle and stratospheric inputs in Antarctica over the last 100 years via the combined use of all water isotopes). His work is supervised by Dr. Samir Kassi for the technical developments of the optical-feedback frequency stabilized CRDS system to be used for the precise water isotope ratio measurements.

Mathieu defended his PhD thesis entitled "Water stable isotopic composition on the East Antarctic Plateau : measurements at low temperature of the vapour composition, utilisation as an atmospheric tracer, and implication for paleoclimate studies" at the University of Saclay-Paris on September 6, 2016.
