After nearly six weeks at the Norwegian research station Troll in Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica, I returned via the Russian research station Novolazarevskaya to Cape Town.Although I had to deal with several problems concerning the calibration device and had finally to change this device completely, the mission has been a success and I was able to continuously collect data during a period of more than two weeks.

At a first glance, the quality of the measurements seems to be very satisfying. A more quantitive evaluation for the overall performance of our instrument will be possible as soon as a post calibration has been done back in our lab in Grenoble and further improvements concerning the fit procedure have been incorporated.
