Environmental education has always been a core part of our school's curriculum. For the past two years, the Erasmus project "Get Responsible to the Outside World" (GROW) has been running, bringing us together with Romania, Greece, Portugal and the Czech Republic in an important journey of awareness to become responsible citizens for our planet.
Today, the children from the Valle Scrivia kindergarten took part in the event "Preventing Plastic Invasion", organised by Municipio III in collaboration with AiCS Ambiente.
Through fun, hands-on workshops, the youngest learners discovered how to give plastic bottle caps a new life, transforming them — using a small machine — into useful and long-lasting objects, such as rulers and soap holders.
The activity aims to promote a culture of environmental respect and reduce the use of single-use plastic, while also raising awareness among families about protecting our planet.
