To mark World Water Day on 22 March, Liti Primary School carried out a special educational initiative in collaboration with the National Centre for Research and Technological Development (CERTH) and the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Oraiokastro.

Pupils had the opportunity to learn about the importance of water as a precious natural resource, understand the need for its rational use, and recognise our shared responsibility in protecting water reserves.

Through experiments, interactive games, and hands-on activities, the children gained experiential knowledge of the water cycle, the uses of water, and the threats to water resources.

At the end of the activity, all pupils received a certificate of participation, acknowledging their active involvement and growing environmental awareness.
