Sc. sec. 1° grado Casavola-D'Assisi

The Italian Lower Secondary School "Casavola-D'Assisi" is composed of three branches: two are situated in a quarter next to the industrial area of the chief town Bari, one is situated in the outskirts of the town. A part of students comes from neighbouring quarters where families of modest sociocultural and economic level live. Neverthless they are motivated to the cultural growth of their children and interested in innovative formative offerings. In the last years there has been an increase in immigrant population: many Chinese, Albanian, Indian, Romanian, Georgian, African families have been moving to Modugno and the number of those students is increasing in our school too.
