TeaM intends to foster social integration through the reinforcement of the teaching quality addressed to pupils coming from a migrant background and through activities of cultural exchange among pupils of different ethnic groups and EU countries.
The project aims at supporting the professional development of school staff by providing specific training on diversity, intercultural pedagogy and language development during short term joint staff events.
With respect to the students, it yearns for promoting common European values, social integration, enhancing intercultural understanding and a sense of belonging to a community through non-formal and informal learning activities and short term students exchanges.
The activities addressed to students will aim at:
• developing values of respect and tolerance among pupils, as well as a sense of European identity;
• a deeper understanding of contemporary cultural diversity in its historical and social context and a more concrete awareness of being united in diversity;
• improving foreign language and digital competences;
• increasing self-esteem and motivation to learn particularly for migrant pupils;
• improving students involvement as active citizens in their multicultural school and society.
