Teacher trainig
On November 12-14, 2019, training for teachers from partner schools took place in Poland. A school from Poland, as the project coordinator, took care of the organization of the training. The training was financed from the allocated funds under the Erasmus+ European Union program project title: “Taste of life” KA229 – School Exchange Partnerships.
The training is a very important element of our project because it was to prepare teachers to the best possible implementation of the tasks and goals of the project.
The title of the training: What are key competences, how to develop them during lessons, methods and tools for shaping key competences. The role of the teacher in modern education. ICT – effective tools for developing key competences.
It was divided into two parts. The first “ICT – effective tools for developing key competences” took place at The Regional Teacher Development Centre ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa, Poland. Its main goal was increasing the competences of training participants in the use of information and communication technologies as well as innovative and activating teaching methods during lessons in order to strengthen entrepreneurship, creativity and creative thinking and action of students.
The second part of the training “What are key competences, how to develop them during lessons, methods and tools for shaping key competences. The role of the teacher in modern education.” took place at Polish school (Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny im. M. Kopernika w Hutkach) and was conducted by teacher trainer Karolina Kępska.
During the teachers’ stay in Poland, cultural elements could not be missing, therefore we proposed sightseeing the Jasna Góra Monastery in Częstochowa – a famous Polish shrine to the Virgin Mary and one of the most important places of pilgrimage, as well as a short trip to Krakow. During their stay at the school, the teachers took part in a ceremonial academy on the occasion of Independence Day, and also ate a traditional Polish dinner.
