Mobility in Finland
On May 9-13, 2022, the mobility of students from all partner schools took place, this time to a partner school in Finland. During our stay in this fascinating country, we were able to get to know the Finnish educational system, which is considered to be one of the best educational systems. We visited the partner school Harjurinne in Loviisa and participated in the "Useful Arts" workshops. At the FORUM Community Center, we had the opportunity to prepare a Finnish delicacy ourselves - yeast buns with cinnamon and butter - delicious. We also got to know traditional Finnish games and activities in the open air. We used the Finnish sauna and bath barrel and walked around Loviisa Harju - a forest formed at the end of the last ice age.
We also participated in the "Pleasant Rowing" workshop. We sailed on boats on an easy route, protected in life jackets, under the supervision of certified guides, admiring the beauty of the Finnish landscape. This stay was full of many physical activities, after all, the main topic of our project was a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the next classes were dance workshops and team sports games in international teams.
On Thursday, May 12, we visited the capital of Finland. We started our tour of Helsinki from Senate Square, which is dominated by the Lutheran Cathedral. It is impossible to miss this place - high white columns with green domes can be seen from afar. At the Helsinki City Museum, we got to know how children's lives have changed over the years. The next point was the Library, where everyone could find an interesting occupation. This is where the inhabitants of Helsinki spend their free time. We also visited Helsinki University. In the afternoon we went to Porvoo, where we stayed in beautiful Finnish houses. The day ended with a farewell dinner for which we received our certificates. On the last day we visited Porvoo - a historic city with a rich history. Finland will only evoke positive memories of all participants of this mobility.
