Recipe book Happy children's kitchen

In the 2021/2022 school year, Vrtec Ledina participated in the national project "With the game to the first tourist steps", organized by the Tourist Association of Slovenia. The theme of the project was "My town, my chef". We collected recipes for typical Slovenian dishes,  and prepared some of them. We were most proud of preparing Ljubljana pancakes with Slovenian chef Luka Jezeršek.

We also invited all partners of the project to participate. Each country has added to the recipe book some recipes of typical dishes from their country, which are easy to prepare with children. This is how the Happy children's kitchen collaborative recipe book was created.

Then, in kindergartens and schools, we prepared typical dishes from different countries, and the children also cooked at home with their parents. The response from all sides was excellent.

As part of the Ecoschool, Barbara Medvešek and Maja Klančar presented the project and the recipe book at the Altermed & GreenVita fair, on May 20, 2022 in Celje, Slovenia.

Bridging Europe in Education

EBI Francisco Ferreira Drummond organized, in partnership with ES Jerónimo Emiliano de Andrade, the 3rd edition of Meeting Bridging Europe in Education.

The objectives were to discuss the participation of Schools in the new framework of the Erasmus+ Program, from 2021 to 2027, and to create the Bridging Europe Network, a network of European partner schools, to help participating schools gain new contacts and potential partners.

The Meeting included the intervention of the two organizing schools and several European partners, who were on the island; Furthermore, it included the intervention of 4 network partners, from Spain, France, Italy and Croatia, and the participation of several schools on the island and several dozen network partners.

It was a very relevant moment for the European dimension that we have been introducing in our educational practices and for the expansion of our network of European partnerships.

All partners from Happy Children  were present in the online meeting and fill in the structure framework for future partnerships.
