The Erasmus+ mobility activity to Základní škola Dobřichovice in the Czech Republic provided a multifaceted program designed to foster internationalization, enhance digital skills, promote environmental awareness, encourage inclusivity, and improve language proficiency among our students and staff.
In the classroom, Spanish language lessons were integrated with Czech peers, allowing students to practice and exchange linguistic skills in both English and Spanish. These language-based activities, including class projects and conversational exchanges, created an immersive environment for students to expand their language abilities. The collaborative lessons not only facilitated communication skills but also enhanced cross-cultural understanding, building on our goal to establish English as a bridge for global connection.
One of the highlights was an educational excursion to Prague, guided by a local expert, Maruška, which was structured to provide students with both cultural and historical insights. This day-long tour offered exposure to key heritage sites, underscoring sustainable tourism's importance in preserving historical landmarks. This focus on sustainability aligned directly with our objectives surrounding environmental consciousness, linking with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to emphasize global citizenship. An additional excursion to Karlštejn and the Museum of Nativity Scenes deepened students' understanding of cultural heritage, offering an educational approach that encouraged respect for local traditions while promoting sustainable tourism.
Social engagement activities were thoughtfully incorporated to support social inclusivity and encourage meaningful interactions. For instance, the students engaged in a shared bowling activity, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Through the game, Czech and Spanish students had the opportunity to build friendships in a casual setting, fostering inclusivity and respect—core principles we promote in anti-bullying efforts. This aim was further developed through a shared cooking experience where students prepared traditional recipes, an activity that encouraged teamwork, cultural appreciation, and open communication, essential for social integration and cultural awareness.
The program concluded with a collaborative laser tag game, an activity chosen to promote teamwork and cooperation in a dynamic setting. This event was designed not only for recreation but also to allow students to interact in new and engaging ways, building trust and empathy as they worked together and strategized to achieve common goals.
Learning from our experience in the Czech Republic

Experimenting with the musical scale by creating an instrumental accompaniment to a Christmas carol with boomwhackers. In addition to working on the sound of the notes, we have experienced pulse and rhythm. We introduced a new musical resource into the classroom that our Czech classmates introduced to us.

We work on the attitudes that we must take into account when using social networks
1. Don't be someone else
Don't hide your personal identity and identify yourself as a professional. Having a good professional identity generates credibility. It also improves the trust of the people you are addressing.
Always act under the rules, principles and values of the ethical code of the profession.
2. Separate your personal profile from your professional one
Don't mix your personal and professional life. Better create separate profiles for both.
3. Don't publish if it doesn't add value
Publish quality content. Add value to your profession and to society.
It's better to leave the "posturing" for your personal accounts.
4. Don't spread health rumors
Avoid health hoaxes. Don't spread content if you don't know where it comes from. Always cite the sources you use.
5. Don't argue or gossip
Avoid getting into absurd controversies or disputes. Don't spread malicious or indiscreet information that could affect third parties.
6. Don't give individualized advice
Interact with the online community, but avoid individualized health consultations.
7. Don't spread private topics or without consent
Don't spread information or images if you don't have permission. Remember that you must have permission from the person, legal guardian or author.
8. Don't discuss controversial topics
They often happen out of context or due to a lack of information.
9. Don't harm your profession
Be respectful. Avoid comments that may harm colleagues or the social image of your profession.
10. Don't go too far. Act!
If you detect situations or attitudes that are contrary to the ethical values of your profession, inform your professional association.
