Learning 3Rs: Recycling, Reusing, Reducing
16 Pupils and 8 staff from guests;50 pupils,10 teachers,2 school managers from hosting school,20 parents or family members, at least 2 members from localauthority will participate in the activities. The main objective of this LTTA is to enable pupils to understand how reusing, reducing and recycling can save resources and reduce pollution. Pupils will also understand the need to protect natural resources as well as the environmental and economic benefits of 3R's. They will also recognize the importance of environmental monitoring.
Arrivals, evening welcome and integration
DAY 1:Welcome in school; presentation of the Romanian educational system, Romanian project staff; presentation of partner schools on 3R's; Visit to the Recycling Factory.
DAY 2:Field Study: visit to the water treatment factory in Bucharest.
Activism march for climate-Pupils will walk on the neighboring streets to arise environmental awareness and understanding to the inhabitants, with slogans, project song and placards.
DAY 3:Visit to the Mayoralty of Bucharest. Meeting with the Mayor and the Local Council. Discussion about the 3Rs program implemented by the Mayoralty.
DAY 4: Morning: Making clothes and bags from recyclable materials and from “no longer used clothes and bags” Evening: Organizing a “Fashion show” to present the created products to other pupils, families, teachers, local authority. For the creation, pupils will bring at school recycle materials and used clothes&bags.First they will make the sketches then the products. Teachers of Arts & Design(2 from hosting, 4 from guest schools)will be in charge with guiding the pupils and realizing the activity. Discussion & conclusion session will take part at the end to monitor the effects.
DAY 5 :Green jobs: Meetings with representatives of the scientific community, presentation, discussion. Contribution to the Green Jobs Dictionary. Visit the Parliament Palace. Discussion about the energy consuming and energy saving

The most of the activities will be integrated in the regular school activities and for that reason will have positive effects on the behavior of the pupils inside and
outside school regarding the development of civic behavior related to Sustainable Development. Field visits will be connected with the Chemistry and Physics.
Creation of products is related to Art class. The ”fashion show” will be organized after classes with the participation of lots of people
