Scott is an avid supporter of a number of charities close to his heart including Team Endeavour, The Rawthey Project, RAMIT Rugby, Wooden Spoon Charity and MND Association. To date he has completed a number of challenges carrying The Unknown Soldier on his back (a weighted mannequin representing carrying a soldier off the battlefield). He ran the London Marathon in 2023, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in 2024 and in February 2025 climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his weighted soldier mannequin raising in total over £70,000. He continues to work with and for Veterans raising much needed money and awareness particularly for those suffering with mental health conditions. Scott and The Unknown Soldier are excited for yet another challenge this year. In September 2026 they will be joining Team Endeavour on an amazing mission to climb Mount Fuji in Japan, from Sea to Summit along the Yoshida Trail.
As a Guest Speaker Scott is delighted to be able to share a thousand years of British history, his own experiences at The Tower of London and in the Military, his rugby career as well as his charitable work.
