Ukrainian Social Club
Ukrainian Social Club in Twickenham, London, was created in April 2022 to support Ukrainians who were fleeing the war and arriving in West London. Our first and foremost purpose is to help people settle in, integrate into the local society and gain access to benefits, jobs, education etc. Our mission is to support Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their country and have arrived in London, providing them with the necessary tools and information for a successful and stable transition to life in the United Kingdom. Our motto: “Embrace. Engage. Empower.” — lies at the heart of everything we do. With a constantly growing community, made up primarily of women and children, we focus on supporting the most vulnerable members of our community affected by the war, at all stages of their adaptation journey across many areas of London (Richmond, Hounslow, Kingston, and others). The club provides refugee adults and children with information materials, resources, lectures, workshops, and classes created and delivered by Ukrainians, dedicated to topics of mental health, overcoming isolation, and integration.
