Our Global Scholars

Global Scholars are students who are in receipt of a Foundation Global Grant to undertake a masters degree or PHD year that relates to one of Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus. The studies must take place at a university outside of their home country. They are hosted by a Rotary Club in the area of the university and also supported by the host Club’s Rotary District. This ensures that they have support to help them settle, deal with any problems that arise and receive opportunities to interact with Rotary. We are delighted to be welcoming four Global Scholars to our District this year who are studying at Sussex University.
