What's a landing page?

The landing page is also known as your home page. It's the main page where visitors "land". Its job is to welcome your audience (visitors) and orient them to the site and what it has to offer.

That includes explaining how to get the best out of your e-portfolio, including navigation.

What to Keep in Mind

• This is your chance to make the first impression you want. 

• Be you. Don't be a poser.

• Include a photo.

• Speak directly to your visitor and welcome them warmly.

• Tell your visitor what your site is for and what they'll find.

• Help your visitor find their way around - how to navigate.
