My name is Estefanía Palacio, and I’m a passionate, bilingual educator dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive classrooms where all students feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
I hold a California Teaching Credential in Bilingual Elementary Education and a Master’s in English from St. John’s University. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of supporting students across a variety of settings—from student teaching in a 1st grade bilingual classroom at Ramona Elementary to leading my own class as a long-term substitute at Palms Elementary.
I believe in the power of student-centered learning, community-building, and hands-on experiences. Whether through small-group instruction, community celebrations, or planting a class garden, I strive to make learning meaningful and memorable. My work with the Audubon Society has further shaped my approach, allowing me to design nature-based lessons that honor students' cultures and connect them to the world around them.
Thank you for visiting my portfolio! I invite you to explore the sections ahead to learn more about my teaching philosophy, classroom practices, and the heart I bring to my work.
