Type 3 is also called the Achiever or the Executive. Here at Enneahouse, we call Type 3's "Water" elemental personalities. Water can be powerful, adaptable and all-important, but also drowning and fickle.
Type 3's are born to achieve visible success. They very regularly believe that the degree, the certification, the public-facing job are the only path worth treading. 3's have the potential to be true entrepreneurs who change the way the world sees success. They often dream of the wall full of trophies and certificates that prove to everyone that they have made it. They are driven by being seen as successful by everyone and fear being seen as failures.

When they are in a positive emotional state, Type 3's become truly successful, which success they learn to measure with loyalty and dependability. They improve their psychological state by learning to see failure as a learning experience and move around obstacles rather than breaking themselves against them.
