My journey began on the bowling lanes in primary school, which led me to the Singapore Sports School and into the National Development Squad at the age of 15, instilling discipline and optimism along the way. In 2022, I took a bold leap into fashion, choosing to channel my creative energy into innovative design. At Temasek, I've sharpened my eye for detail and embraced the latest trends and textiles. I'm thrilled to share my portfolio, where I've been exploring and evolving my personal style over the past three years. Additionally, I've been modeling for two years, an experience that has deepened my understanding of how design translates into wearable art and further inspires my creative journey.

My design philosophy is to connect with people through shared experiences and tell my story through emotional connections, because I believe life is much deeper than what we see on the surface. Coming from a sports background, I experienced the harsh realities athletes face — constant pressure to perform, comparison, criticism, toxic environments, and the expectation to appear strong even when struggling internally. Winning felt like validation, while failure often felt like I had failed the world, not just myself, creating silent battles with self-doubt and identity. These experiences shape my perspective and inspire me to translate complex emotions into simpler, more understandable concepts through fashion. Through my work, I aim to reveal what is hidden beneath the surface and help others feel seen in emotions that are difficult to express, while continuing to grow and explore as a designer.
