Title: “Synthesis of Robust Anti-Windup Compensator for Nonlinear and Nonlinear Time-Delay Systems under Actuator Saturation".

Description: The aim of this research was to propose a solution for integral windup effect in uncertain nonlinear and nonlinear time-delay systems, utilizing the tools from robust control theory, Lyapunov stability theory, linear matrix inequality (LMI), Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, global and local sector conditions, L2 gain minimization and estimated region of stability. Further, to apply the proposed results to power convertor system to minimized the effect of windup. The objective of this doctoral dissertation was to developed anti-windup schemes along with applicability to practical power and control systems to fill this gap in research literature.

Title: “Nonlinear Time-delay Anti-windup Compensator Synthesis for Constraint Nonlinear Time-delay Systems".

Description: This research study addresses the novel architectures’ formulation and linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based design of dynamic nonlinear anti-windup compensator (AWC) for nonlinear time-delay systems with continuous interval time-varying delays under input saturation. An internal model control (IMC)-based AWC architecture and a decoupling AWC architecture is suggested for nonlinear time-delay systems. An application examples for FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) neuron and Hopfield neural network (HNN) under input saturation and time-delay are presented to reveal effectiveness of the proposed anti-windup approach.
