Self-Reflection
This week in my English classes, I learned how English is used in different real-life situations. Watching the videos helped me improve my listening skills and understand the main ideas, even when I didn’t know every word. I learned that it’s okay to focus on the message instead of translating everything.
The news activity helped me practice speaking in a more organized way. I learned how to introduce information, explain what happened, and include other people’s opinions, like an eyewitness. It also helped me feel more confident speaking in front of others.
The role play helped me practice everyday conversations at work. I learned how to ask for help, respond politely, and stay calm in stressful situations. Working through these activities helped me feel more comfortable using English naturally, and I realized I can communicate better than I thought.
