Hello, I'm Professor Victoria Ramirez Gentry and I will be your instructor this semester.
To tell you a bit about myself, I have a B.A. in English with a minor in Technical and Professional Writing, and I am currently working on my M.A. in English (I graduate this May 2019 so if I seem a bit stressed sometimes, you'll know why!). I have taught this course here at TAMU-CC for a year now. Before teaching I worked as a writing consultant here at the CASA writing center for about four years, and before that I was a tutor in multiple subjects including math, science, philosophy, and, English.
I have written two academic articles, and I am working on my thesis (which I complete and defend this semester), and have presented at multiple conferences related to my area of study. I have two dogs I'm obsessed with and am married to a man who loves watching Harry Potter and The Office with me. We're both big nerds, he's just a math/science nerd while I'm an English/writing nerd.

Office Hours: Mondays 3pm-4:30pm, Fridays 9am-11am, or by appointment. (These are my official office hours; however, I'm in the office most days. The safe bet would be to send me an email before you stop by to make sure you don't miss me as I am in and out of the office for meetings. Also, check your email or our class plans in case I cancel office hours due to travel or illness.)
