Plans for today:
- Discussion of Final Portfolio (Final Reflective Overview/Genres)
- As this is our second to last week of class, I would highly suggest not skipping so you do not miss out on the participation/peer-review portion of your grade. Of course, coming to class is your choice always, but this is my attempt to help you out.
- Make sure to do your course evaluations!
Assignment Descriptions and Rubrics for Final Portfolio
Group Up, Share, and Discuss:
- Which Naming What We Know Threshold Concepts or ACRL concepts do you see as most important to the drafting process of creating your genres? Why?
- How do these sources (Naming What We Know and ACRL) connect to one another and the genres we are working on with the Semester Project: Intersections: Situations and Genres?
- How does what you have done so far with your Intersections Project connect to the student learning outcomes?
Homework for Wednesday, November 28
- Have a draft (even if it's just a few paragraphs) of your Final Reflective Overview started.
- Have substantial drafts of your two individual genres ready for us to look at together as a class. This means you MUST upload everything on Google Drive. If you are creating social media pages, post the links. If you are working on a website, publish the site and share it.
