Below are the links to the class assignments.

Research to Learn and Crossing Thresholds are short writing assignments that will be due weekly (check Schedule daily for updates on when these will be due) in response to readings and/or your own research activity. These writings will be "works in progress" throughout the semester. The Research to Learn assignment will help you develop your midterm project proposal, and all of your writings will provide you with evidence to select for your midterm portfolio as well as your final portfolio.

• Research to Learn Assignment: 30 % of midterm portfolio grade, 15 % of final portfolio grade.
• Crossing Thresholds Assignment: 30 % of midterm portfolio grade, 15 % of final portfolio grade.
• Portfolios: Midterm portfolio worth 30 % of course grade, final portfolio worth 70 % of course grade.
• Semester Project: Intersections: Situations and Genres (Recognizable Forms)
