ENGENE, here is everything you need to know about Apple Music!
Apple Music is a streaming platform, just as Spotify is. It is primarely intended for iOS/MacOS users and can only be used if you have a premium subcription (or a free trial!).
You can create playlists and stream your favourite artists, while seeing directly how popular they are on the platform (for more information, check this page.).
As you probably know by now, premium streams are weighted more for global charts and also get filtered less. Since Apple Music is used by premium users only, streams can impact the position of a release way more than other platforms, especially when we're talking about the biggest music markets worldwide.
First of all, you have to sign up to Apple Music with an Apple ID.
After signing up, you can immediately start playing a song and create playlists.
If you are an iOS/MacOS user and have already bought an ENHYPEN release on iTunes with the same Apple ID you signed up for, make sure to manually delete the file in your library before adding it through the search again! This will make sure that you're playing the right audio file. If not, your streams will not be counted!
If you only use the Apple ID for Apple Music, don't worry! You can add any songs you like and start playing immediately.
The system regarding streams is the same as on Spotify. After the first 30 seconds, a stream will be counted. Nontheless: It is best to play full songs and all the tracks of an release on Apple Music, since that will help with the comeback's chart position.
Since Apple Music streams get filtered less, you will need less fillers when creating a playlist (one is enough). The playlists also can be longer than on Spotify. Just a little bit of a heads up:
Make sure to not stream on mute!
Engage with the app a few times per day and create multiple playlists (if you want to know how to create one, click here) so you can switch in between.
There is a neat little feature on Apple Music that ENGENE can take advantage of- Apple Music has a Kpop chart in some countries that updates quite regularly during a day. If there are enough ENGENE from your country streaming with Apple Music , creating a streaming test to see how your party affects the charts would be a great idea, don't you think?
Usually, the top Kpop songs also get reflected in your country's Album and Pop chart, so keep an eye out for that! High positions in a lot of countries will be great for chart tracking.
