The Global Top 200 reflects the top 200 streamed tracks in the world. The songs shown on it are the ones that have the highest amount of filtered streams in the tracking period.

This Chart reflects the Top songs streamed during the latest tracking period (filtered streams only!). If a song is in the top 50 globally, it gets added to a special playlist.

This chart reflects the top songs played after the latest tracking week (filtered streams only.)

Usually, the first 20 streams of a song are counted towards the global chart (those are the filtered streams!). The rest are still counted, but are just added towards the Spotify Counter (that is the number you see at the side of a song.

However, the rule might differ for local charts!

ENGENE from France: Please note that only the first 10 streams count towards the national Top 200! 

ENGENE, even if you've reached the maximum amount of filtered streams for the day, do continue to stream! There are still other tracks of the album and we usually want to reach a goal for the unfiltered streams too.

If its possible for you to stream with more account, limit it to maximum of 6 accounts per ID address (that is the limit, or else all streams might not count)! Nontheless, it is better to only to do as much as you can handle, since interacting with playlists like usual listeners do is important too!

Another thing : CONSISTENCY IS KEY. To sustain longevity, we won't only do our best for one day or the first tracking week, but all the time (if possible :)).
