George Green's School

At George Green's, students studying Art & Design develop the core skills that they need to be able to record, experiment and refine their work with confidence. We are also keen to see students develop skills and resilience around planning, developing and exploring their own ideas and artworks, creating work that is meaningful and personal to them. 

Students are naturally gifted and quickly develop a sense of pride in their work and creations. We like to see students develop their own relationship with the subject, as well as their thinking about their long-term practices and how these might work for them and the world around them. We focus on progress and achievement that empower students, but also on fostering life-long learning and building those relationships with the subject.
