Facility Requirements
Specific Requirements will be determined by the scope of the entire training planned.
Some components may include:
A facility that can accommodate approximately 100 square feet per program participant.
Should have ample electrical capabilities to power a laptop computer, iPad, projector, GoPro cameras, & other
Must have access to restroom facilities & running water / hand wash facilities
Should consider providing hand sanitizer in ample supply for use by faculty & participants
Should include ample waste receptacles
Wi‐Fi or Ethernet capabilities is beneficial for scenario based video opening
Basic audio‐visual equipment for in person lectures.
Including the capability to project a PowerPoint presentation onto a screen
Host
Host should provide ample parking for participants, including handicap accessible spaces.
Host needs to provide SMEM parking spaces for program faculty.
Host must designate a loading / unloading area for SMEM personnel that is in close proximity to the meeting / lab room & accessible through a ramp and/or elevator by carts / dollies.
Host is asked to provide beverages, snacks, a light breakfast and lunch for all participating students and faculty.

Pre‐Program Development‐
SMEM personnel will arrange for a series of regular meetings (virtual or in‐person) as needed with the recipient in order to develop and refine all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: registration, program schedule & logistics, AV & equipment needs, program objectives, food & drink, arrival, set‐up, & breakdown, & other pertinent items related to successfully completing the program for both parties.
Pre‐Program Planning / Logistical meetings will be held at a minimum at the following times‐
Immediately after contract execution
30 days prior to the program
7 days prior to the program
