9th May was the Friday at the end of the first week of the written Matura exams and we had a Europe day project day.
In the first hour the classes played a Human BINGO game and talked about their findings. The second hour was devoted to the creativity. Each class had to make an infographic of a certain aspect about the European Union. (CHAT Gpt was used to grenerate ideas and it was very useful, we just had to adapt them.) A huge display was made from the parts. In the next hour the students completed several quizzes about to European Union and teh ones who collected the most points won. In the last hour participants of the group mobilities of pupils visited the classes and introduced their projects and experiences. It was a nice day!

We invited the students and teachers of the school district and the town to an online contest and and a mini-conference to share our knowledge and experience of the Erasmus projects.
At 9 on 15th October student groups of the Százhalombatta Széchenyi István Comprehensive School (Sziszki) and our classes joined a Teams meeting to take part in a competition. First to break the ice, each school presented 3 statements about their history, their numbers and well-known people related to their school. One of the statemens had to be false and the participants had to find out which. They wrote the number of the statement on a board and showed up together.
Then the participants formed smaller groups and started the quest. They had 45 minutes to collect as many points with solving different tasks as they could. The winning school and the winning team was from the Sziszki, but the second and third teams were from our school. The winners got small presents.
In the afternoon teachers of the two schools met online and we introduced an application we learnt on a Erasmus plus mobility, we talked about the Erasmus plus programme, shared some of our good practices and showed an eTwinning project.
We expected a bit more interest in our programmes but it was enjoyable as it wa. Perhaps, we'll try once more.
On 7th May we celebrated Europe Day (9th May) with a three-hour event at school for grades 7-11.
In the first hour, higher secondary classes worked on an online escape room while primary and lower secondary classes played a Jeopardy game about the European Union.
Then the students who took part in mobilities during the year prepared a presentation about their project and experiences and in pairs walked around the classes and talked about it. Two projects could appear in each class.
Finally, in the last hour, pupils were involved in interactive tasks related to the projects. Our task was a riddle in Caesar cypher that was cut up into parts so small groups of students were given a part of the riddle, they had to decipher it, and then the groups had to cooperate to reconstruct the text of the riddle to think of a solution. We had an online meeting on eTwinning with our French and Italian partners in the "All Roads Lead To Rome" project and wished a Happy Erasmus Day.
