This article is a Mangools review that I thought was worth sharing, in case you have been having issues with SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization and it is used to enhance the visibility performance of a website or blog online so that it could be more visible and easily found by more people.
For instance, if you are having a video production agency around Manchester, you could slowly but steadily get you or your client's website optimized by performing and implementing SEO techniques. SEO has many factors to it and is not just one thing in particular, but many combined.
here is an example of what I am talking about:
So you would begin by getting started with performing your keyword research. Keyword research involves researching the most relevant phrases that people tend to type into the google search engines. It doesn't end there though, these words have to be relevant to your blog or website or niche of your website and these phrases also need to have a high search volume along with very low competition in order for you to stand a chance to get ranking on google pages for that term.
And therefore the only logical thing for you to do is to try to rank for the keyword ''Video Production Agency Manchester'' and whenever someone types in this term into their internet browsers, your website will be the first one to appear on google search results because it has been optimized correctly, leading to more sales and warm leads to pursue.
Then you would have to get original written content based on your product or services and make it easier for people to learn something new from your business website or blog, basically providing a valuable resource for them to refer back to.
Performing on-page SEO would be the next step in your SEO journey. On-page SEO is when you optimize the page so that it could contribute to the other ranking factors that co-exist in the SEO arsenal.
Then next you would have to perform off-page SEO. Off-page SEO is the other aspect of optimization that you don't get to see, but they have a huge contributing factor towards your page ranking.
And that is only the beginning, it gets much more complex, in fact, I could go on and on about SEO but I would have to write a completely different article for that.
But what you need to always keep in mind is that Search engine optimization revolves around a natural way for getting organic traffic and therefore focuses only on the organic search results, this does not include PPC marketing even though both SEO and PPC are part of search engine marketing.
This brings me to the next point of this Mangools review.
Mangools is a very powerful intuitive software designed for search engine optimization purposes and it includes a set of seven different tools namely:
Keyword finder
SERP checker
Link miner
Serpwatcher
Site profiler
SEO browser extension
SERP volatility checker
All of these apps work hand in hand with each other in order to give you the most accurate search engine optimization analysis for your marketing campaigns and digital presence.
With Mangools' great user interface, using these search engine optimization tools will be so easy even a 12-year-old kid can comprehend after a couple of demonstrations on how to get started. Meaning you don't have to be a qualified SEO professional or any sort of an expert in search engine optimization.
Keyword Finder one of Mangools most trusted feature that everyone has to begin with first as it is the first step to search engine optimization. Keyword Finder works typically just like the other keyword research tools where you type in your keyword and thereafter receive back analysis on how many times that particular keyword is being searched every month, how competitive the keyword is as well as other relevant keyword ideas you might be interested looking into.
As you can see, I have typed in the keyword ''Video Production Agency Manchester'' into the keyword finder search bar and it has done its analysis and provided useful data for me to work with.
On your left, we can see that Mangools keyword finder has given me a list with other relevant keywords that I could be interested in ranking for. Although they might seem slightly similar yet they all have different search intent along with different stats and they mean totally completely different things.
You can also see the trend of this keyword in case you are planning on creating a viral piece of content, the trend bar also helps you with deciding if a topic is worth creating content on or not. Judging by how the trend bar is looking, this keyword is slightly still trending and worth targeting.
Under the search tab, you can see that Mangools shows us the number of searches that this keyword receives, this could be broken down to 12 months, 6 months, and 3-month intervals.
Next, you can see that Mangool has also provided data on the CPC, which stands for cost per click. Cost per click is used in conjunction with Google ads and it basically describes the amount in dollars or in your local currency that advertisers are bidding for on this keyword. So if this keyword has a CPC of $7.19 it simply means that if you had to create a google ad for this keyword you would have to pay $7.19 for every click you receive leading back to your website.
Next to that, you will find the PPC tab, PPC stands for pay per click. The figure that you see in this tab indicates that this keyword has a competition level of 21 when it comes to pay per click on google ads.
And in the last column, you get the KD tab which stands for keyword difficulty and all it does is indicate to you how difficult or how easy this keyword would be to rank for. Right now the keyword I chose is in the green and that means that there is no competition, for this keyword and I can go ahead and target it and stand better chances of ranking my page or article.
Other stats of data that you will be presented with from Mangools is the percentage or rather the rating out of 100. The lesser the number under 40 the better but anything lower than 20 is probably not such a good idea to target. As you can see, the keyword I chose has a total rating of 23 out of 100, making it an easy keyword to target as the difficulty is very low and is in the green.
Furthermore, you can clearly see the keyword stats for the last 12 months and you can hover your mouse over a particular month and see how many searches there were for the search term within that month.
Above are your competitor websites that are also competing for the same keyword as you. These websites are the ones appearing on the first page of google in SERP for that keyword. SERP stands for search results page from Google.
This gives you more insight as to what you need to be focusing on more to improve your SEO efforts. Let's take a look at what data we are able to interpret within this section of the keyword finder.
Domain Authority is the ranking score that determines the ranking potential of a website's domain name and it is calculated using linking root domains as well as the number of links. The higher the domain name, the more traffic it gets and the more trustworthy it is in Google's eyes.
Page authority is a ranking score by Moz and it determines the ranking factors and how well that specific page will be able to rank. The overall calculation of a page authority will be calculated using link counts, MozRank, and other more complex factors.
Citation flow determines how influential a URL or domain is by evaluating how many other sites link back to it, therefore focusing more on link quantity.
Trust flow is the opposite and instead focuses more on the link quality so it is important to have quality links on your site so that you may achieve a high TF score and stand a better chance of getting ranked higher because you are linked to a trusted site. And not having quality links will only earn you a low TF score.
This is the number of external backlinks that are within that particular domain. As you already might know, backlinks are very important for SEO and contribute a lot towards ranking factors.
On Facebook, you are able to connect your website to the platform using API which will then reveal to you how many Facebook shares your page or URL has received. This is a good statistic to look into because then you are able to target more Facebook users and maybe even run Facebook ads if you have the budget to do so.
Link profile strength of the URL. I am not yet too sure how this feature works but I will look into it after doing some research, then update this post. But as you can see, in the above image that the first competitor has a link profile strength of 31 which is quite weak and we can outrank this competitor by working on improving a stronger link profile strength.
Estimated visits are the number of visits that visitors visit a website every month and this calculation is based on the average search volume on that particular SERP.
That is not all for the keyword finder tool, as not only can you do keyword research based on your keyword but you can also do your keyword research based on any domain name you could think of, even if it's your competitor's domain.
meaning you are able to in a way spy on your competitors and see what are all the keywords that they are ranking for and even get some keyword ideas for more content. You will be able to see all of their keywords that have low competition and a high search volume.
as you can see i typed in a domain from alux.com and Mangools keyword finder gave data to their keywords and is indicating that they have a very high competition and that they are not worth targeting as it will be difficult for me to rank for them. It also gives you a list of competitor's sites to analyze. Unless you happen to find a keyword highlighted in green that will serve as an indication of a good keyword worth targeting.
According to the data that we have received from Mangools keyword finder after evaluating the domain name of Alux, we find that the domain name has been searched 23.900 times on a monthly basis and their highest month was on July 2019 with a staggering 60,500 monthly searches!
When looking at the trend analysis of Alux.com, you can clearly see that the trend started off strong and held quite a steady well until it died down around 2015 and got back to a reasonable bullish trend flow around 2017 where the average was maintained a 50 percent average throughout.
SerpChecker gives a more thorough breakdown of the SERP analysis for a certain chosen keyword. Here in this feature, you get to get a full analysis on all sorts of different pages that are ranking for that particular keyword, you can also see every page's page authority, trust flow, Alexa ranking etcetera.
SerpChecker also has a feature within it called the SERP Features Impact
What happens here is that Mangools finds out how overcrowded is the first page of google and then proceeds to do calculations within the organic search results as to how many clicks can be acquired from those organic search results.
So if there are many video results, ads, and articles on the first page of Google, the higher the number will be.
And if you click on the snapshot tab, you will then be able to view the results for that keyword from the first page like this.
Normally when you are doing your keyword research you would have a tab open for this tool and then have another tab opened up on google, doing this will allow you to search for the keyword as well as to view those search results at the same time. But if you are using this snapshot feature, you can do all that and more directly from within this Mangools tool while simultaneously comparing SERP results to a page from your site.
This feature is quite simple and straight forward to comprehend as all it does is to keep track of the relevant keywords or domain name.
So you can track these keywords within the domain name of your competitors and get an overall idea of how those keywords are performing over a certain period of time.
What you could also do is to take advantage of the dialogue text box at the bottom where you are required to manually type in the different keywords and Mangools will track your search engine rankings for those relevant keywords.
LinkMiner is another one of Mangools' important features as it allows you to have the ability to find powerful backlinks for your site.
this feature will reveal to you a ton of backlinks that redirect to a domain or specific URL and have the results sorted according to do-follow or no-follow.
Also within the linkMiner feature is its cool website preview function, which most other SEO tools do not have.
This website preview function reveals to you a snapshot preview of that particular page which links to the domain name you typed in and you can even see the links on the page as you scroll further down
With Mangools' SiteProfiler you will type in the relevant domain name into the search bar of the tool and this site profiler will give you data on how many backlinks that domain name has as well as the overall amount of shares this domain has gotten from Facebook.
And it would look something like this once the data analysis is done:
Here you can see some interesting data like the domain name's top best content which gets the most engagement in every form from its readership. This feature comes in handy especially when looking for some content ideas or inspiration for your next article.
You can also see the active backlink profile of that domain name including the number of backlinks that the domain name has lost in the past months.
This is the top content that belongs to this domain name I had analysed.
When you sign up for a Mangools account you also have an option to install the Mangools SEO browser onto your pc, the Mangools SEO extension is available for both Firefox and google chrome extensions, installing the Mangools browser will give you relevant data analysis on a domain name's keywords, the domains backlinks, its link authority and much more.
Installing the Mangools SEO extension browser will also give you an added advantage of seeing all the keywords your competitors are ranking for, reducing the workload of having to do keyword research from scratch, saving you precious time.
Before publishing a post or page you should always make sure to go through the on-page SEO process and you can do all of this within the comfort of your Mangools SEO browser extension. Having the Mangools browser extension is enough to get you started well on your way without even having to open the Mangools software suite, as sometimes you just want to do a quick analysis without having to go deep into the research.
when it comes to customer support, not alot of companies keep to their word to see you through especially if you have some complicated questions that you need answers to.
The best customer support has to be in real time communication and Mangools customer support service does just that.
I went ahead and dropped them a text message on their chat box and received a fast well deserved response within seconds, Mangools was super fast with their response although they couldn't really explain to me as to why the Mangools keyword finder data differs from that of Google keyword planner all the customer agent said was that Mangools uses its own metrics to determine their data analytical calculations.
I then went ahead and asked a follow up question and the speed in response from this Mangools agent was relatively fast yet again.
Miso was good at responding to my questions and at least he did not have to lie about giving me information he knew nothing about and neither did Miso take any sides when it came to the tech giant Google keyword planner versus Mangools.
The pricing of Mangools is not that bad at all to get started with compared to other SEO tools out there in the market. Starting at $39,90 per month saving you $349.20 every year is quite reasonable considering the fact that you get access to all those 5 apps plus including the Mangools SEO extension browser as an added bonus, or if you're smart and you hate monthly debit orders as I do, then you could simply just cut straight to the chase and go for the yearly plan and save a whopping 40%!
The basic Mangools plan is more than enough for you to get started with if you are using it for yourself on your business website or blog. But for small team agencies and SEO specialists including freelancers that manage their client's websites for search engine optimization services I would highly recommend that you get a Mangools agency plan so that you don't get any limitations preventing you from providing great SEO service.
Some of the good things I liked about Mangools are the following
Pricing: Mangools clearly has the cheapest pricing in the market currently compared to their competitors and for all those 5 apps that are inclusive, it should actually cost slightly more.
User Interface: Mangools has a super intuitive user interface that is easy to figure out, its not complicated cluttered like Ahrefs.
That unique ''website preview'' function of theirs is what makes Mangools stand out from their competitors.
Browser extension: It's good that they have an extension for their SEO tool which will allow for more users. Take a look at Ubersuggest for example, which also has a chrome extension. All of these SEO tools will probably soon have chrome and firefox extensions in the near future
The fact that every time you open up a new app within Mangools, it opens up a new different tab which is unnecessary, multiple tabs slow down the performance of a pc and it causes confusion in general.
I don't like the fact that the Mangools SEO browser extension does not include showing data on keywords unless you are on a paid plan.
Mangools is a nice SEO software suite to use if you are planning on specializing in SEO services or maybe you might be just a beginner getting started in SEO and not looking for anything too costly budget-wise, then Mangools is the SEO software suite that should be number 1 in your top 5 list of SEO tools to consider.
