4/12/25 Japanese Festival
Working at the Japanese Festival Guam 2025 as a helper was a fun and meaningful experience. I helped sell traditional Japanese dishes to festival-goers, and it was exciting and a bit overwhelming to see how many people were eager to try the food. The booth was busy for most of the day, and I was in charge of taking orders and receiving tickets. It was a fast-paced environment, but I enjoyed the challenge and the chance to interact with so many different people.
One of the things I appreciated most was seeing how food can connect people across cultures. Even though I was working, I felt like I was part of the celebration, sharing Japanese culture through the meals we served. I also learned the importance of teamwork and staying calm under pressure, especially during the busiest times. The experience taught me useful skills and gave me memories I’ll always value.
2/6/25 Freshmen Recruitment
I presented along with Juniel, Jaychan, and Mary. We presented to one class which was a tuff crowd. We practices for a couple of days which was very fun to do. I was a bit scared that i was going to be to low tone with my voice but i pushed through to present well.
I feel like we did great as a group. Everyone was supportive and helpful when it came to making a mistake. We managed to be ready even though we weren't but it was fun to present. Our lead Juniel was very enthusic when it was time to present.
Everything was fun and open, which was the goal for us to welcome the freshmen. I think a bit more practice and we would've nailed it.
11/26/24 Pineapple commercial reflection
1.What was my role? Rate your participation from 1 to 5. How was the teamwork?
My role during the recording was to make the script. On a scale of 1-5 of participation i would say a 2. My team was wonderful to work with through the project. They were helpful and understanding for the project.
2 . How do you feel about the final product?
I honestly love the final product from the recording to the editing to the end. My teammates made it work and pushed through for the project. The background was lovely even with the signs and the logo foe Westen hotel.
3. What would you do to improve it? What would you do differently?
I would attend the recording and do my part of the script in the video. Choose a less noisey background. Other then that i have no other issues with the out outcome of the project.
