1. Describe the lessons you learned from these topics:
1a. what are the main components of tourism, hospitality and travel industry?
Food and Beverage, Accommodation, Travel and Tourism and Entertainment and Recreation
1b. why is customer service important for the hospitality industry?
Customers service helps create a positive customer experience that goes beyond just meeting basic needs. It's about making people feel valued and appreciated and going the extra mile to make them feel welcome.
1c. what life lessons did you learn from our ice breakers?
I learned a lot from the ice breaker from learning that the different topics affect us in different ways. From being happy to being honest. Its always something new Its never the same.
2. What were your most memorable experiences from our class?
Being apart of the class and being with one of the most opened minded classes on the campus.
3. If I had to redo my school year, what would I do differently? How did you adapt to double session at JFK?
I would make more time for the different experiences that they provide.
4. Rate your effort and attendance for our class (5 being the highest to 1 being the lowest) and describe your one challenge and one success during this school year.
I would say about a 3 for my attendance and effort. Coming to school with a bad mood and not having a lot of control at home. One success would be that i got a job without being apart of the DYA internships.

CLASSROOM ENVIORMENT 12/23/2024
The class gives out like a comforting place with all the soft bright colors all around. The students also play a big role in the classroom if theirs no students then its just a room. It feels really calm like when you walk in you feel safe. The classroom is like a safe house to some students Not to all but some which is good. Its like a place were people go to trust the people in it.
The classroom also created a bond with some of the students in my class. Mr. Chong really made me feel like I can tell him when I am having a bad day and he makes it better with his comforting words and his kindness

I got to use my customer service skills and served customers their drinks and food trays.
I also did some cleaning up with the kitchen staff.
so what?
The purpose of this fundraiser was to help out the island girl power association.
now what?
Next time I won't take my time and not rush things because there wasn't a lot to do at the start.

FRESHMAN RECRUITMENT 02/05/2024
what?
I presented it to the class of 2027 with my classmates. I talked about getting my job at JPSS at Guam plaza. I also was the leader of my group with thought it was hecked to get everyone on the right track.
So what?
The purpose of this was to get the freshman start to think of what they want to be or what they in the future.
Now what?
I would change the fact that we weren't prepared as much but we did good. That some of us forgot our lines and the presentation. I would change the fact that we didn't talk as much to the freshman students about their questions or thoughts.
JAPAN AUTUMN FESTIVAL 11/18/2023
"What?
When I got there, I started working at chief Kai's booth. I was working with the food such as with the bbq corn and the bbq meats. I was packing the foods so they can sale them.
"So what?
I feel good because I worked with food for the first time. I also saw a few friends there. The outcome of it all was that Guam can show that were a friendly island toward others.
"Now what? - I like everything i would change the amount of people that worked with us because there wasn't enough people to work.

I would change how i was dressed i should've brought a hat instead. I would bring more water just in case someone forgot to bring their own.
