Financial Aid (2022-2023)

Read below and determine which one you are eligible for. The financial aid application will open October 1, 2021.

You will only apply for one financial aid application.

FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid

  • In order to be eligible to apply for FAFSA, you must be a U.S. Citizen/Legal Resident. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be eligible for TASFA.

  • In order to complete FAFSA, you will need your parents' 2020 taxes or their 2020 estimated income and your W-2 form (if you worked in 2020).

TASFA: Texas Application for State Financial Aid

  • In order to be eligible to apply for TASFA, you must have DACA or be a non-U.S. Citizen that has lived in Texas for 3 years. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible for TASFA; however, you are eligible to apply for Non-U.S. Citizen scholarships.

  • In order to complete TASFA, you will need your parents' 2020 tax returns or their 2020 estimated income.
