I'm ready to apply for financial aid but my parent(s)/guardian does not have a social security number, what do I do?

  • Don't worry, you can still apply for financial aid!

  • FAFSA: You will not create an FSA ID for your parent. Instead, when filling out the application, you will enter 000-00-0000 when it asks for your parent's social security number. At the end of the application, it will ask you to provide an electronic signature. For your parent, you will click "other signing options" > print PDF > follow instructions and mail it.

  • TASFA: You will check the box "N/A" under section three: Parent Information.
