Team Members

Ari

Ari Rubenstein will graduate in June 2025. He studies Environmental Studies and Audio Music Production at the University of Oregon. Growing up in Maryland, Ari was able to form a deep connection to the environment by routinely visiting the Chesapeake Bay. He's most interested in studying Environmental Justice as well as incorporating film into environmental Issues.


Bailie Severson graduated in June of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Planning, Public Policy, and Management. She is passionate about environmental education and plans on pursuing teaching with the hopes of integrating more environmental education into public schools. In her free time, she enjoys reading, rollerblading, and rock climbing. 

Cam Montagne graduated in June of 2023 with an Environmental Science major with a focus in Biology at the University of Oregon. She is particularly interested in studying marine biology in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, she likes to go backpacking, rock climbing, and play music. 


Elyse Osman graduated in June of 2023 with a degree in Environmental Studies. Elyse hopes to move to the Bay Area where she can continue working with children. Outside of the Environmental Leadership Program, Elyse enjoys cooking, working out, and rewatching episodes of Parks and Rec. 



Erika graduated in spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, French Language, and Environmental Studies. Erika’s participation in the Environmental Leadership Program developed her interest and skills to pursue a career in Environmental Education. Her hobbies outside of academics include spending time outdoors, bouldering, and painting.

Ethan Moser graduated in winter 2023 as an Environmental Studies major. He is interested in continuing work in watershed restoration, agriculture, and education. Apart from this, he also enjoys playing music, looking at plants, studying history, or laying in a meadow next to a high mountain stream. 


Roman Worthey graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies in June of 2023. In his last few terms, he was a part of the Environmental Leadership Program at the University of Oregon. He strongly believes that nature can be one of the most effective educational settings. Giving students the ability to learn through experience in the field and connect to concepts that impact everyone and everything. 


Tatum Reiter finished her last undergraduate term in the Environmental Leadership Program, she graduated with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Political Science at the University of Oregon. She is passionate about promoting environmental education and connecting all people to nature! 


Theresa Stevens graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Studies in the spring of 2023. Her participation in the environmental leadership program allowed her to build skills and gain experience in environmental education while strengthening her own personal connection to nature and the environment.

Wendy Feng

Wendy Feng is a proud Chinese American from Los Angeles, California. She is a Masters of Environmental Studies graduate student at the University of Oregon, studying Asian American environmental justice activism. Her work emphasizes social justice, environmental justice, and education. Prior to joining the UO community Wendy received her B.A. in Environmental Studies and minor in Pre-Law from California State University, Monterey Bay.  As a first-generation student, Wendy believes it is critical that environmental education both inside and outside the classroom is accessible to all. 

Dr. Katie Lynch

Katie Lynch is an environmental anthropologist, with a focus on the interconnection between social justice and the environment. Katie Lynch is the Co-Director of the Environmental Leadership Program at the University of Oregon where she has been leading ELP with non-profit organizations since 2006. This program continues to inspire and motivate undergraduate students at the University of Oregon and prepares undergraduates for the real world whichever path they take.
