ELGA Schools accept all types of external funds.
However and in some circumstances, we may compensate the difference in the tuition value for a specific program/course in case the external fund you bring is not enough to cover the full tuition of the program/course of your choice.
Compensation decisions for limited external funds are considered on a "Case - By - Case" basis
In general, applying through an authorized training center increases your chances in financial assistance however, you can still apply on your own as an "Independent Applicant" through using the [Financial Assistance] application form, but before you apply you should:
Find out if you are eligible for the specific type of award that suits your status by the time you start your admission process
Contact the appropriate faculty
Apply for the award before its deadline
In general, ELGA Schools scholarships are awarded to those students who achieved distinctive grades in their undergraduate university studies
ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA
Eligibility: Any student who is a university graduate with a grade of distinction is eligible to apply for an ELGA Schools scholarship.
People With Disabilities: And/or special needs are eligible to apply for a full ELGA Schools scholarship; either graduated with distinction or not, the "People with disabilities open scholarship" is an open unconditional scholarship to those with special needs, no prove of distinguished accomplishment in their past education is required. NOTE: people with disabilities who finish attending our programs/courses are welcome to join our affiliate program, and/or our workforce team, and start their career.
Criteria: ELGA Schools scholarships are awarded for studying "Any program/course of your choice"
MERIT & TYPES
ELGA Schools offers (3) types of scholarships:
"Distinction and Grade of Honor Full Scholarship" awarded before program/course attendance: for university graduates with a grade of distinction, the scholarship covers the full value of the program/course tuition
"People With Disabilities Open Full Scholarship", is a full scholarship awarded before program/course attendance for people with disabilities, the scholarship covers the full value of the program/course tuition
"Merits of Good Standing Half Scholarship" is a half scholarship during program/course attendance upon merits of good standing: In some circumstances you may be receiving a scholarship upon proving merits of good standing and excellent performance during your study of a specific program/course, in such case, ELGA Schools may refund you half the value of the tuition you paid for attending such program/course after you receive your graduation certificate
FREQUENCY
The "Distinction and Grade of Honor Full Scholarship" is offered four times per year.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
All applications for scholarships are received at the beginning of the academic year between September 1st and December 20th

In general, ELGA Schools bursaries are awarded to those students who have financial problems that may prevent them from paying the full amount of program/course tuition they are willing to attend
ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA
Eligibility: Any applicant who cannot afford to pay the full amount of program/course tuition is eligible to apply for an ELGA Schools bursary.
People With Disabilities: And/or special needs are eligible to apply for the "People with disabilities open scholarship" only
Criteria: ELGA Schools scholarships are awarded for studying "Any program/course of your choice"
MERIT & TYPES
There is no specific merit or type for our bursaries, the only mandatory requirement for those who are interested in bursaries that they should submit prove of their need for financial assistance to the appropriate faculty
FREQUENCY
There is no limit for the number of bursaries awarded by ELGA Schools every year as each application for a bursary is processed on a "Case - By - Case" basis

The difference between an ELGA Schools "Scholarship" and a "Grant" is that a scholarship is awarded for studying "Any program/course of your choice", yet a grant is awarded by specific schools for "Specific types of programs/courses" only.
ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA
Eligibility: Applicants for programs/courses with grants are eligible to apply for ELGA Schools grants.
People With Disabilities: And/or special needs are eligible to apply for the "People with disabilities open scholarship" only
Criteria: You should consult the appropriate school before applying for a specific program/course to ensure whether the program/course you select offers grants or not. You may use the [Program/Course Information Request] form to receive information about programs/courses that are available with grants
MERIT & TYPES
Those who are interested in grants should submit proof of their need for specific program/course with a grant. Preference is usually given to those who submit information demonstrating urgent need for such a program/course with a grant, like for example; providing evident description of how attending such program/course will lead to a major need for changing their career path, or an urgent need for applying for a job that requires skills taught in such program/course, and with evidence that the applicant may lose a job opportunity if s/he fails to attend such program/course as soon as possible

The number of grants awarded each year is determined by the appropriate faculty. Applications for grants are processed on a "Case - By - Case" basis

An ELGA Schools Assistant-ship award is a participation of the student in the teaching process by supporting the teacher during the delivery of a program/course. This type of engagement is a part time paid job with a duration that is usually equivalent to the duration of the program/course assistantship
ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA
Eligibility: In general, all applicants are eligible to apply for an assistant-ship award, however, only applicants who demonstrate skills and experience during their assessment - in a certain specialization that is relevant to a specific ELGA Schools program/course - will be selected to provide teaching assistant-ship in such program/course - and in return; they will be either paid an amount of fees for such temporary job opportunity, or will have the chance to attend any other program/course of their choice with a special discount, or even for free
People With Disabilities: And/or special needs are eligible to apply for the "People with disabilities open scholarship" together with an assistant-ship award.
Criteria: Selection is based on the results of the applicant's assessment, resume, skills, and available teaching assistant opportunities

Merits and types of teaching assistant awards are subject to each program/course specific need for teaching assistants
FREQUENCY
The number of assistantship awards per year and the amount of fees payable to the teaching assistant is determined by each of our schools independently

A program/course discount is usually offered by our worldwide authorized training centers as part of their promotional and marketing plans and not by ELGA Schools faculties

Eligibility: All Applicants are eligible to apply for our program/course discounts.
People With Disabilities: And/or special needs are eligible to apply for the "People with disabilities open scholarship" only
Criteria: You should consult the authorized training center of your choice to see if it is offering a special discount for the program/course of your interest. Please note that ELGA Schools will not be able to provide you with any information regarding such matter as discounts are subject to authorized training centers marketing strategies and policies

The number of discounts on our programs/courses awarded each year is determined by our authorized training centers. ELGA Schools does not interfere in such matter

You can combine your request for receiving more than one ELGA Schools award together and at the same time for any program/course of your choice.
Please note that competition is high for the combined awards as it provides you with the maximum amount of financial support you may possibly receive from ELGA Schools
