OUR CREDIT SYSTEM
ABOUT OUR CREDIT SYSTEM
ELGA Schools’ credit system is applied to provide the chance for its graduates to pursue their study for a higher degree like a BSc., Master, or a PhD in a university after they finish their studies at ELGA Schools. Students can submit a transcript of their attended ELGA Schools program grades, credits, and topics to the University for a Credit transfer. most universities require that the applicant submit such documents to be accepted for a graduate degree
One ELGA Schools program and/or credit hour is equivalent to one hour of a student's practice during a program/course, additional credit hours are also calculated for the work the student spend in preparing his/her graduation portfolio, attending the graduation exam, submitting final reports, and any other graduation requirements.
Academic Load
In general, the regular weekly academic load of a standard ELGA Schools course is: three sessions per week, three hours per session, making a total of nine hours per week, this is in addition to the designated mid-course examinations, graduation projects, portfolio making, and other graduation requirements.
Example
If you are enrolled in any ELGA Schools course where you attended three sessions during this week, and the duration of each session was three hours. Then, your total credit hours will be equal to the number of sessions you attended multiplied by the total number of hours of all sessions, plus the total credit value calculated from the rest of the work you prepared for your graduation requirements.
Calculation
In the given example; your accumulated total credit hours will be equal to:
(3) Sessions X (3) Hours per Session
= (9) Credit Hours + Graduation Requirements Credit Hours
Calculated in the same manner for the number of hours you spent in your final exam, preparation of your graduation portfolio, and any other graduation requirements if any.
Upon graduation, the student is issued:
A grade Transcript
A graduation certificate
Two reference letters to submit to employers as part of a job application document.
The Schools also provide two-year support for its graduates by sending reference email letters to employers of its graduates upon request.
Archives
In addition, all graduation transcripts are stored in an online database for the student to access, and forward the transcripts URL links to interested employers and other parties upon request as a proof that such graduate has successfully attended a learning program/course in our schools
