Some good news that adds another success story to ELGA happened in April 2016....
With a team of four students from the school of architectural and engineering science at the University of Zakazik the state university of the Sharkeya province in Egypt, ELGA managed to enter and win a design competition for the design of a complex building consisting of a mall, 5 stars hotel, office tower, and a tourist village in Sakakah Al Gouf, Saudi Arabia
The Architectural design education is hardly perfect, specially the "Design studio", many pedagogic approaches have been explored by teachers to improve its learning process. ELGA has transformed its extensive experience to the design studio at the students undergraduate level sharing with them a practical - real life design case by engaging in such a valuable experience that is based on neither the teacher nor the student articulation of the traditional design studio themes, context, or challenge.
The experience is hosted by the media and broadcasted last week of April 2016 on Nile Sat - National Nile Higher education Television Channel of Egypt. In the Show Architect and Professor Dr. Yasser El Gammal, an ELGA founder and principle together with his four students from the undergraduate design studio are talking about their success story.....
