What I Did
I used the chapter reading and the internet to look up and define what a file and folder were in relation to computer science.
File: A file is a container that stores information on your computer. Files are identified by a short extension following a period at the end of their name. e.g. (.jpg, .docx, .mp3)
ZIP: Is a compressed file format
Folders: Hold files (and even other folders, called subfolders).
What I learned
I learned that files, folders, and their extensions all work together to keep my digital space organized and easy to navigate. As I paid attention to how folders group related files and how extensions like .pdf or .jpg reveal what each file actually is, I started to see a clearer structure behind everything I store. Understanding both made managing my work feel more intentional and gave me a stronger sense of control over where things belong and how to use them .
