About el Consulting

el Consulting was formed in 2005 as an LLC and is owned and operated by Vincent LaVallee. Vincent came from the Silicon Valley in northern California, the home of the Windows based PC. He moved to Mesa, Arizona in 2000, where he noticed many friends, relatives, and retirees frustrated with their computer because they were not familiar with today's technology. Wanting to change that, he started el Consulting to help clients improve how they manage their PCs and maximize their computer's performance. el Consulting's website is located at elconsulting.org.

Vincent is also a very avid historian, particularly on military history, with major emphasis on WW II.

Experience with breadth and depth

Vincent has extensive experience in the computer industry with over 40 years of experience spanning multiple fields:

• Mainframes, mini computers, and personal computers (Windows based PCs)

• Operating systems from mainframes and from DOS through to Windows 10 on PCs

• Various applications such as Microsoft Office, which evolved from early 1980s through today's Office 365 (specializing in MS Office 2007 through MS Office 2019)

• PC architecture - from the Intel 286 architecture in the 1980s all the way through to today's PCs based on Intel's "I" series of CPUs and AMD's Ryzen series of CPUs (Central Processing Units).
