Receiving Your New Chickens

We are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient handover process for your new chickens. Please review the following guidelines for receiving your Silkie chickens from Elara Silkies.

Pickup Location and Arrangements

Designated Pickup Location:

1. • If you choose to pickup from our farm, please state this clearly, arrange arrival in advance and be respectful of our property. Please be aware we have dogs.

   • All handovers will have the choice to take place at the Lismore McDonald's car park, out the front of Alstonville Norco or in front of Coraki Post office.

   • These locations provide central, safe and convenient meeting points.

Scheduling Your Pickup:

1. • Pickup times must be arranged in advance and agreed upon by both parties.

Important Notes for Pickup

Punctuality:

1. • Please ensure you arrive on time for the agreed pickup. 

   • If you anticipate being late or are unable to make it, please notify us immediately. If we are not told about a late arrivial we will not wait around.

Missed Pickup Policy:

1. • If you fail to arrive at the agreed time without prior notice, we will not reserve the chickens for you.

   • Chickens not collected will be made available for sale to other buyers.

Transport Requirements:

1. • You are responsible for providing a suitable and safe transport container for your chickens.

   • Ensure the container is ventilated and secure to prevent injury or escape during transit.
