All chickens sold are bred and raised by us at Elara, located in Bora Ridge, NSW, Australia. These Terms apply to all sales of chickens, whether conducted in person, online, or over the phone. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
We are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss caused by the chickens after they leave our care. Under no circumstances will we be held responsible for incidental or consequential damages related to the sale or use of the chickens. You are responsible for ensuring that you are permitted to keep chickens in your area and comply with local council regulations.
You are responsible for providing a safe and appropriate environment, including housing, food, and care, for the chickens after purchase. Chickens are social animals and should not be kept alone. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure proper companionship for the chicken.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for chickens once they leave our property, except in cases where the chicken was proven to have a pre-existing health condition at the time of sale. Claims regarding health issues must be supported by a veterinarian report within 48 hours of purchase. Refunds for eligible claims will be processed within 14 business days.
Chickens can be picked up from our farm at an agreed-upon time. Buyers must provide their own suitable transport for the chickens. Delivery/Meet up times must be arranged and confirmed in advance.
All arrangements of chicken purchases are subject to availability and acceptance. Payment must be made in full on delivery/pick up of chickens. Accepted payment methods include [PayPal and cash]. No payment plans are available.
We take every precaution to ensure the health and quality of our chickens at the time of sale. We cannot guarantee the future health of the chicken once it leaves our care, as external factors such as environment, diet, and handling can impact its well-being.
We take every precaution to ensure the health and quality of our chickens and as a result we do not post chickens or eggs in the mail.
We do not provide guarantees regarding the sex of young chicks unless explicitly stated.
