Hello, my name is Shreya Sapkota Dhakal, and I am a graduate student in the Department of Civil Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Growing up in Nepal, I witnessed the challenges of pollution and its impact on public health, which inspired my passion for protecting the environment. I am deeply interested in understanding the sources of air pollution, its effects, and how innovative solutions can mitigate these effects. My current research focuses on shifting from fueled-powered vehicles to electric vehicles and their impact on air quality. I am very happy to work with Dr. El-Sayed in this lab.
