Hi, my name is Mariel Judd. I am a rising junior (c/o 2022) studying Civil Engineering and minoring in Applied Mathematics. I'm 20 years old and from Ellicott City, Maryland. My interest in Civil Engineering was sparked by my hometown experiencing a 100 year flood, twice in a 2-year period, and wanting to repair and protect the environment of my town. I am excited to work with Professor El-Sayed on this research!
