We are excited to announce that Sophia Beckwith has received an AURA Scholar Research Grant from the ERAU Office of Undergraduate Research.
Sophia’s research will focus on studying aviation emissions on the ERAU campus using low-cost air quality sensors through Project AEROM (Aviation Emissions Research, Observations, and Modeling).
Congratulations to Sophia on this well-deserved achievement! We look forward to seeing the progress and outcomes of her research.

Congratulations to graduate student Tonmoy Ghosh for receiving the 2025 VoLo VISTA Award.
His project uses low-cost sensors to monitor air quality in real time, making pollution data more accessible and actionable. By deploying both stationary and mobile sensor setups, he's helping us gain a better understand the impact of air pollution on human health and ecosystems. For more details, watch this.

In this leadership role, she will contribute to advancing the association’s mission, supporting the aerosol research community, and helping shape initiatives that promote scientific collaboration, education, and professional development.
