Hi, my name is Dori Stein, and I am an undergraduate student studying Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with minors in Astronomy & Astrophysics and Applied Mathematics. My interests span engineering physics and environmental research, including understanding how space exploration affects our environment.
My current research with Dr. El-Sayed focuses on the impacts of rocket emissions on air quality in Cape Canaveral. Through field measurements using low-cost sensors and data analysis, I help investigate changes in pollutant concentrations associated with rocket launches. I am excited to contribute to the lab’s work and continue developing my skills in environmental monitoring and data research.
